Drain Plug ShippingFrozenBoost Intercoolers, Inc. usually removes drain plugs from heat exchangers prior to shipping to help eliminate shipping damage.
Your drain plug can be found either taped to the inner box the radiator was in, taped to the inside wall of the outer box it shipped in, or folded inside the protective cardboard layer around the heat exchanger core.
Check the entire package contents and consider the possibility that the drain plug somehow got loose and is floating in the sea of packing peanuts.
If you are absolutely unable to find it, the drain plugs can be replaced with the following sizes:
- Type 100 and 117 are 1/4"-18NPT
- Type 118 and 101 are G1/4" (AKA 1/4" BSPP, 1/4" NPSM)
